What's new in AlfaPoint EPOS 6.8.31
AlfaPoint is a fully featured EPOS application designed for restaurants, bars, cafes, takeaway shops,mobile sales and small retail shops.AlfaPoint EPOS application is adapted for smartphones, 7" tablets, 10" tablets and selected 15" Android EPOS terminals.
The application contains a demo setup for you to see how it works, and to use it to sell your products you need to subscribe to AlfaLine cloud back office.
Use the application at a single point of sale or as part of a multi-terminal or multi-shop setup.
Restaurant and bar features include:
* Tables and tabs
* Menus
* Direct printing to kitchen and bar printers (fully configurable)
* Waiters can use phones or tablets to take orders at the tables, which then go directly to kitchen and bar printers, and table orders are synchronised to all tablets and EPOS terminals in the restaurant.
* Split receipts
* Service charge

* Staff log on with password
* Fully configurable screen layouts (departments, pages, products,..)

- STAR network receipt and kitchen printers
- Cash drawers connected to STAR printers
- DATECS mobile bluetooth printers

AlfaPoint EPOS Permissions
Pair with bluetooth devices - allows the app to view the configuration of bluetooth on the device, and to make and accept connections with paired devicesRead the contents of your usb storage - allows the app to read the contents of your usb storage
Full network access - allows the app to create network sockets and use custom network protocols. the browser and other applications provide means to send data to the internet, so this permission is not required to send data to the internet
Modify or delete the contents of your usb storage - allows the app to write to the usb storage
Access bluetooth settings - allows the app to configure the local bluetooth device, and to discover and pair with remote devices
Control vibration - allows the app to control the vibrator
View network connections - allows the app to view information about network connections such as which networks exist and are connected
View wi-fi connections - allows the app to view information about wi-fi networking, such as whether wi-fi is enabled and name of connected wi-fi devices
