El Veedor Digital es el primer portal cívico de la República Dominicana, Periodismo Ciudadano y Comunitario, propiedad de un colectivo ciudadano, quienes lo gestionan y dirigen conjuntamente con la colaboración de la Fundación Justicia y Transparencia, (FJT), esta modalidad de comunicación es también denominada como Periodismo Participativo o Periodismo Democrático, el cual procura integrar a los ciudadanos en una dinámica participativa, que como testigos de excepción se convierten en los informadores y reporteros de aquellos sucesos y acontecimientos sociales, políticos, jurídicos y económicos de trascendencia e interés para la Democracia Dominicana.Por medio de este digital pretendemos desarrollar un periodismo de marcada vocación comunitaria, procurando ser una plataforma de interactividad al servicio de la comunidad, con traducción en línea en 10 idiomas diferentes, abarcando con ello más del 80% de la población mundial, además contamos con una fuerte y determinante presencia en las principales redes sociales, lo que nos convierte en una plataforma de interactividad sin precedentes, otro valor agregado de este medio lo es su disponibilidad multimedia en los más variados formatos, facilidades que nos proyectan como una herramienta útil para viabilizar la participación y presencia de aquellos sectores más vulnerables.

Take pictures and videos - allows the app to take pictures and videos with the camera. this permission allows the app to use the camera at any time without your confirmation
Control vibration - allows the app to control the vibrator
Read the contents of your usb storage - allows the app to read the contents of your usb storage
Modify or delete the contents of your usb storage - allows the app to write to the usb storage
Precise location (gps and network-based) - allows the app to get your precise location using the global positioning system (gps) or network location sources such as cell towers and wi-fi. these location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. apps may use this to determine where you are, and may consume additional battery power
Read google service configuration - allows this app to read google service configuration data
Full network access - allows the app to create network sockets and use custom network protocols. the browser and other applications provide means to send data to the internet, so this permission is not required to send data to the internet
