And you have a MEDION LifeCloud device?The MEDION® LifeCloud® App for Android allows you to easily connect to your MEDION LifeCloud and stream your entire media collection from anywhere, anytime!
MEDION® LifeCloud® App for Android is compatible with: MD-86783, MD-87025, MD-86946
Important: This App will only works with MEDION® LifeCloud® devices (MD 86783, MD 87025, MD 86946). If you are using a dfferent MEDION® NAS model (MD 86407, MD 86517, MD 86587, MD 86592, MD 86729, MD 86769, MD 86803, MD 86805, MD 86909, MD 86942), you should download the MEDION® Nas Suite App from the store.
What you can do with the MEDION® LifeCloud® App for Android:
• Browse your photos stored on your MEDION LifeCloud and enjoy and show them to your family and friends directly from your Android device at home or remotely.
• Stream music stored on your Lifecloud directly to your Android device from anywhere.
• Watch a video stored on your LifeCloud on your Android device.
• Access your home stored digital documents on the go.
Common questions:
Q: Why will the MEDION® LifeCloud® application not install? It says it is incompatible!
A: MEDION® LifeCloud® Android application requires Adobe Air and Android 2.2 or above in order to run it.
Q: Why will a xxx format video file not play on my phone?
A: MEDION® LifeCloud® App does not convert or render your video files. In other words, it is not a video player. It simply uses the video players installed on your phone to play your files. If your phone does not support that format of video, you may need to convert it on the computer, or download a 3rd party player that supports the file.
MEDION® LifeCloud® App Permissions
Read the contents of your usb storage - allows the app to read the contents of your usb storageView wi-fi connections - allows the app to view information about wi-fi networking, such as whether wi-fi is enabled and name of connected wi-fi devices
View network connections - allows the app to view information about network connections such as which networks exist and are connected
Full network access - allows the app to create network sockets and use custom network protocols. the browser and other applications provide means to send data to the internet, so this permission is not required to send data to the internet
Disable your screen lock - allows the app to disable the keylock and any associated password security. for example, the phone disables the keylock when receiving an incoming phone call, then re-enables the keylock when the call is finished
Read phone status and identity - allows the app to access the phone features of the device. this permission allows the app to determine the phone number and device ids, whether a call is active, and the remote number connected by a call
Modify or delete the contents of your usb storage - allows the app to write to the usb storage
Prevent device from sleeping - allows the app to prevent the device from going to sleep
