賴布衣認為淨陰淨陽法，是天地萬物生生不息之基本原理。賴說：「萬物之生，不生於一，而生物必兩。」此奇遇奇，偶遇偶，合數必偶，乃自然生育。從羅盤上二十四山向，依順序每一水路都有輔弼、貪狼、巨門、武曲、祿存、廉貞、破軍方向來水，也就是「天盤納水」定吉凶的水法。由八大卦位翻變法，可測知來水、去水以救貧。
輔弼水 為來去水時：
輔弼水來最高強，房屋富貴福壽長，輔弼水去退田莊，水去無財更無利，男夭女亡為孤孀。此水朝來房屋發達，唯三房最盛。亡人屍骨潔淨。
武曲水 為臨官水時：來吉，去凶。 臨官方位水聚墳，祿馬朝元喜氣新，少年早入青雲路，賢相籌謀佐聖君。最忌此方砂水去，成材之子早歸陰，閨中少婦當啼哭，財谷虛空徹骨貧。武曲水 為帝旺水時：來吉，去凶。武曲水來發長房，子孫福壽綿延長。
帝旺水來聚面前，一堂旺氣發庄田。高官爵重威名顯，金谷豐盈有剩錢。最怕休囚來激散，石崇豪富不多年，旺方流去財祿薄，乏食貧窮怨上天。武曲水來發眾房，世代為官近帝王。武曲水去血光死。男女離鄉走外邦。此水朝來長晚房人口興旺。子孫聰明寅午戌亥卯未年，中房大旺，百子千孫綿遠。亡人筋骨乾淨，紫藤蓋棺之兆。
破軍水 為墓庫水時：去吉，來凶。
墓庫之方水怕臨，破軍流去反為禎。陣上揚名文武貴，池湖停蓄富春申。蕩然直去家資薄，欠債終年不了人，水到充軍千里外，三男二女總凋零。破軍水來是凶神。先殺長子後殺孫。破軍水去大吉昌，為官英雄近帝王。此水朝來先敗長房，田地人財官事牽連，出人凶暴，投軍作賊。女妖男亡，子孫聾啞疾病。己酉丑寅午戌年應，顛狂少亡淫亂酒色。亡人骸骨黑色，木根繞棺，白蟻咬棺。
廉貞水 為病死水時：去吉，來凶。廉貞水來最難當，廉貞水去富貴來。
病死二方水莫來，天門巽戶不為乖，更有科名官爵顯。水莫斜飛起火災，
損妻服毒刀兵禍，軟腳瘋癱女墮胎，必主其家遭此病，瘋癆痼癟瘦形骸。
貪狼水 為養水、持長生水時：來吉，去凶。貪狼來水照穴場，房房富貴人丁旺。
第一養生水到堂，貪狼照顧顯文章，長房兒孫多富貴，丁人昌熾性忠良。水大曲朝官職重，水小彎環福壽長。養生流去終敗絕，桃花不斷禍難當，少年寡婦守空房。
巨門水 為衰方水時：來去均吉，但要彎曲，勿直來直去。巨門水來百事旺，水去他鄉求生存。
衰方管局巨門星，學堂水到發聰明，少年及第文章貴，文旺財高金滿盈。
出入起居乘駟馬，宴遊歌舞玉壺春，旺方總宜來去吉，也須彎曲更流情。
祿存水 為絕胎水時：去吉，來凶。祿存來水人遭殃，家宅不慎災火降；祿存去水大吉昌，大富大貴長伴隨。
絕胎水到不生兒，孕死休囚絕後嗣，縱使有生難養育，父子分情夫婦離。水大婦女多淫亂，水小私情暗會期。此處只宜為水口，祿存流盡佩金魚。
文曲水 為沐浴水時：來去均不吉。文曲來水人丁少，家道中落體病多；文曲去水能聚財。
沐浴水來犯桃花，女人淫亂不由他，投河自縊隨人走，血疾官災破敗家。
子午方來田業盡，卯酉流來好賭奢。若還流破生神位，墮產風流帶索枷。
文曲水 為冠帶水時：來吉，去凶。
冠帶水來人聰明，雅致風流好賭奢。七歲兒童能作賦，文章博士萬人誇。
水神流去三房苦，髫齡兒童死不差，更損深閨嬌態女，此方停蓄乃為佳。
