What's new in Restaurant KOT Cloud-Owner 1.0
This application is part of the Cloud Restaurant Solution with which owner can monitor the ongoing & previous business at his fingertip from anywhere. There is no need for the owner to be present at restaurant itself to see how the business is going on. With this solution he can monitor the business from anywhere.Brief description of the complete solution
There will be 4 applications as part of this innovative Restaurant management solution. Details of each application are described below.
Owner Application: (Works on both mobile and tablet)
• All the data regarding business (Receipts, Bills, details about each transaction) are stored in the cloud storage where owner can access them from his application from anywhere.
• From the owner application, restaurant owner can get the details like how much business is done on specific date or month, how many quantity of the particular item is sold, how much business is done by particular item etc.
• All the information needed for owner to manage and take corrective steps for his business is provided to owner in his application.
Waiter Application: (Works on both mobile and tablet)
• Waiter can take the orders on his mobile device and with just one click the order will be sent to kitchen for preparation.
• When the order is ready in the kitchen, waiter will get the notification about the item, which is ready to be served.
• Once the all the items are served, waiter can mark all the items as delivered and after that print the receipt.
• If the items are not delivered even after 20 minutes from the ordered time, then those will be blinked in red to get the waiter’s attention
Kitchen Application: (Tablet is preferred)
• When the waiter places order, then immediately that order will be displayed on TV (If tablet is connected to TV)
• All the orders will be categorized in to different sections based on category (Tandoori, Chinese, Main Course, Desserts)
• TV Screen will be divided in to 4 parts where each category will be displayed in each part.
• Once the order is prepared then that particular item can be marked as ready.
• Once the order is marked as ready then that item will be removed from preparation list and the notification will be sent to waiter for the delivery.
Cashier Application: (Works on both mobile and tablet)
• Cashier or Manager can monitor the on going business from his application.
• Once the cashier selects the table, then all the items ordered on this table will be displayed
• Each item will be displayed with its status (delivered, prepared, in-preparation).
• If all the items are delivered then he can collect the payment by clicking checkout button and with this the transaction for the table will be completed.
Restaurant KOT Cloud-Owner Permissions
Modify or delete the contents of your usb storage - allows the app to write to the usb storageFull network access - allows the app to create network sockets and use custom network protocols. the browser and other applications provide means to send data to the internet, so this permission is not required to send data to the internet
Read the contents of your usb storage - allows the app to read the contents of your usb storage
Find accounts on the device - allows the app to get the list of accounts known by the device. this may include any accounts created by applications you have installed
Read your own contact card - allows the app to read personal profile information stored on your device, such as your name and contact information. this means the app can identify you and may send your profile information to others
Read your contacts - allows the app to read data about your contacts stored on your device, including the frequency with which you've called, emailed, or communicated in other ways with specific individuals. this permission allows apps to save your contact data, and malicious apps may share contact data without your knowledge
Allow wi-fi multicast reception - allows the app to receive packets sent to all devices on a wi-fi network using multicast addresses, not just your device. it uses more power than the non-multicast mode
View wi-fi connections - allows the app to view information about wi-fi networking, such as whether wi-fi is enabled and name of connected wi-fi devices
Prevent device from sleeping - allows the app to prevent the device from going to sleep
View network connections - allows the app to view information about network connections such as which networks exist and are connected
